It’s Summer! Summer means ice cream. Ok so actually I have issues with ice cream all year round. Fortunately I have found a solution to my addiction. A ½ cup serving of most ice creams is about 200 calories. Everyone knows that ½ cup is about enough for a 5 year old. I want a good size serving of creamy sweet goodness. You can also top with some more fruit, or sprinkle on a bit of coconut (just be sure to add the calories). So try these recipes and have fun creating your own versions!
*I freeze my own papaya, but I think it is also available at Trader Joes.

Chocolate Sorbet

About ¼ cup milk to make it turn (can use almond milk, skim milk, soy milk…)
Take out the Frozen fruit, and let it sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes. Then Put everything except milk into blender. Pour about half the milk into blender and begin blending.
